Climbing is one of the UK’s fasted growing sports with more people than ever before taking part (indoors and outdoors) on a regular basis.
As part of many of our programmes we include climbing and are lucky that we are central to lots of amazing places, indoor and outdoor, to build skills.
We have a huge variety of excellent indoor walls within an hours drive of the centre, but when the weather is nice we feel passionate about heading out and allowing groups to experience some natural rock.
In Scotland, we are lucky to be surrounded by stunning scenery and mountains and hillwalking is a great way to get out and explore the landscape, both local and remote.
We are able to offer National Governing Body Awards that will build on your experience and give you the necessary skills to head out in to the hills with groups. Both Training and Assessment courses are available.
Lowland Leader This is designed for people who wish to lead groups on day walks in lowland countryside and woodland in summer conditions.
Hill & Moorland Leader This allows you to operate in terrain that is generally more remote than that used by Lowland Leaders, but not as steep or rocky as ground covered by Mountain Leaders.
Expedition Module This is an opportunity to increase your skills where you will be trained and assessed to lead groups on multi day camping expeditions.
